Qualifications:
I completed my undergraduate training at Birmingham medical school in 2009, I then went on to complete my foundation training within the West Midlands. In 2012 I completed my masters in sports and exercise medicine at the university of Nottingham which enabled me to support local sports teams. I went on to gain membership to the royal college of general practitioners in 2015. I have worked within primary care for the last ten years alongside developing my specialist knowledge within sport. I was the primary physician for the Aston Villa women’s team supporting their progression to the WSL. I also worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet for 9 years, alongside Elmhurst school of dance to help further their injury management and injury prevention strategies. My current role combines both primary care, health promotion and sports injury management. I have a keen interest in optimising health and athletic performance in both men and women.
