Your Visit: What to Expect

  1. Triage & Assessment
    A clinician will assess your vital signs and symptoms and decide the path forward.
  2. Diagnostics
    If necessary, we’ll take an X-ray on site. Imaging is handled with hospital-grade equipment.
  3. Consultant Review
    NHS A&E consultants review your clinical findings and images to confirm diagnosis and guide treatment.
  4. Treatment & Aftercare
    From splints to wound dressings, analgesics to referrals — we deliver care and a written summary for you and your GP or specialist.

Before You Arrive

  • Bring any relevant medical history, medications list, or prior imaging
  • Wear clothing that allows access to the injured area
  • Arrive promptly (for booked appointments) — or walk in, subject to capacity

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can attend our urgent care service without a referral.

How fast will I be seen?
Most patients receive assessment, imaging, and diagnosis all in the same visit, with significantly less wait than A&E and treatment and/or medication dispensed in clinic.

Will I be charged?
Triage, Assessment and initial Consultation is £75, Xray is £100, other fees apply for treatment and medication apply

What if my injury is more serious than expected?
Your care team will stabilise your condition, and if needed, facilitate transfer to a hospital A&E.

What We Treat

Our urgent care service is designed for urgent but non-critical health issues. Common conditions we treat include:

  • Sprains, strains, bruises
  • Suspected minor fractures
  • Cuts, lacerations, and wound care
  • Minor dislocations
  • Simple head injuries (where safe)
  • Sports-related injuries
  • Minor burns or scalds

If your symptoms include chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, major trauma, or loss of consciousness, please attend A&E or call 999 immediately.

We can communicate a detailed letter to your GP or Optician of our examination and findings.

If you decide you wish to continue with NHS treatment, we can refer directly to the NHS, or to the NHS via your GP
