How much does a private GP appointment cost?
A 30-minute private GP appointment costs £90 for new patients. We also offer GP subscription plans from £19/month, which include 6 appointments, health screening and priority booking. Our full price list is published online with no hidden fees.
How quickly can I get an appointment?

Does The Vesey accept health insurance?
Yes. We accept Bupa, Vitality, WPA, Healix and most other major medical insurers. We also welcome self-pay patients.
Can I get a virtual / video appointment?
Yes. All our GP services are available via video consultation from anywhere in the UK. Specialist appointments can also be carried out virtually where clinically appropriate.
Is there parking at The Vesey?
Yes. Free on-site parking is available at our Sutton Coldfield clinic, along with complimentary tea and coffee and a friendly reception team. All consulting rooms are on the ground floor with full wheelchair accessibility.
Is The Vesey a hospital? Do I need to stay overnight or be admitted?
No. The Vesey is an outpatient clinic, not a hospital ward. You arrive, see your doctor in a calm, modern consulting room, and leave. There are no overnight stays, no hospital gowns, and no clinical ward environment. It feels more like visiting a GP practice than a hospital. What happens if my results show something concerning?
Every result at The Vesey is reviewed by a qualified clinician before it reaches you, never sent through as a raw lab printout. If a result needs closer attention, our clinical team will contact you directly to talk through next steps, which may include a follow-up appointment, a referral, or repeat testing. You're never left to interpret a concerning result on your own.
I've never used private healthcare before — what happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit is straightforward. You book online (takes under 2 minutes), arrive, are greeted at reception, and taken through to your consulting room. Your clinician will spend your full allocated time with you: 30 minutes for a GP, up to 60 for a specialist.
