When you need in-person care:

If your symptoms require physical examination, imaging or blood tests, your virtual GP will advise you to attend our Sutton Coldfield clinic, your local NHS surgery, or A&E for emergencies. We always put your safety first. If you are having a medical emergency, call 999.

A virtual GP at The Vesey costs £25 for a 15-minute video consultation. Every appointment includes a private prescription, sick note or referral letter if clinically needed. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no app to download.
Virtual GP appointments run 7 days a week, 8am–8pm. Real-time availability is shown in our online booking system as you book — where a same-day video slot is free, you can book it instantly.
Yes. Our virtual GPs have full prescribing rights in the UK. They can issue private prescriptions electronically to any UK pharmacy, or send a paper prescription by post. The prescription is included in the consultation fee — there is no separate prescription charge from us (you pay the pharmacy's dispensing fee separately). We prescribe to NICE and BNF guidelines. Controlled drugs (opiates, benzodiazepines, ADHD stimulants) are not prescribed at a first virtual appointment.
Yes. A legally valid Med3 fit note (sick note) can be issued by a virtual GP during your online appointment. It is emailed to you as a PDF immediately after the consultation and is legally accepted by employers and the DWP. There is no extra fee — the sick note is included in the consultation price. We can also issue fit-for-work letters, employer medical reports, and school absence notes.
Yes. The Vesey is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Provider ID 1-12376210923 — the same regulatory body that inspects NHS hospitals and GP surgeries. CQC registration requires regular independent inspection for safety, clinical effectiveness and patient care standards. You can verify our registration on the CQC website.
No. After booking, you'll receive a secure video link by email and SMS. Click the link at your appointment time — the video call opens directly in your browser on any smartphone, tablet or computer. No app download or account creation required. The video platform is browser-based and encrypted.
