A virtual GP at The Vesey costs £90 for a consultation of up to 30 minutes, with a £70 follow-up if you need one. Every appointment includes a private prescription, sick note or referral letter if clinically needed. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no app to download.

Yes. Same-day virtual GP appointments are routinely available at The Vesey 7 days a week, 8am–8pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Real-time availability is shown in the booking widget — if a same-day slot is available, you'll see it immediately.

Yes. Our virtual GPs have full prescribing rights in the UK. They can issue private prescriptions electronically to any UK pharmacy, or send a paper prescription by post. The prescription is included in the consultation fee — there is no separate prescription charge from us (you pay the pharmacy's dispensing fee separately). We prescribe to NICE and BNF guidelines. Controlled drugs (opiates, benzodiazepines, ADHD stimulants) are not prescribed at a first virtual appointment.

Yes. A legally valid Med3 fit note (sick note) can be issued by a virtual GP during your online appointment. It is emailed to you as a PDF immediately after the consultation and is legally accepted by employers and the DWP. There is no extra fee — the sick note is included in the £90 consultation price. We can also issue fit-for-work letters, employer medical reports, and school absence notes.

Yes. The Vesey is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Provider ID 1-12376210923 — the same regulatory body that inspects NHS hospitals and GP surgeries. CQC registration requires regular independent inspection for safety, clinical effectiveness and patient care standards. Many competing online GP apps are not CQC registered. You can verify our registration on the CQC website.

No. After booking, you'll receive a secure video link by email and SMS. Click the link at your appointment time — the video call opens directly in your browser on any smartphone, tablet or computer. No app download or account creation required. The video platform is browser-based and encrypted.

The Vesey offers CQC-regulated virtual GP appointments in the UK at £90 — the same price as an in-person GP visit, with the same GMC-registered doctors. The Vesey also offers virtual specialist consultations from £120 across 20+ specialties, combining GP and specialist virtual care in one place.

After your appointment: any prescription is sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice within minutes; any sick note is emailed to you as a PDF; any referral letter is sent to the specialist the same day; and a consultation summary is sent to your NHS GP (with your consent). You'll also receive a follow-up email from our reception team with next steps.
