Lifestyle Screen Blood Test — a rounded check on how your lifestyle is treating you
One blood draw, 30 markers. The Lifestyle Screen looks at the things daily life quietly affects — cholesterol and heart risk, blood sugar, liver, kidneys, iron and key vitamins — so a clinician can show you where you stand. £194 · clinician-reviewed results · CQC-regulated.
A sensible MOT for the health-conscious adult
Most of the conditions that shorten healthy years build quietly over time. The Lifestyle Screen is a practical way to keep an eye on the things that matter — whether you feel fine or want reassurance.
Due a general check-up
You feel well but haven't had bloods done in a while and want a thorough baseline.
The busy professional
Long hours, takeaways and not enough sleep — you want to know what it's costing you.
Family history on your mind
Heart disease, diabetes or high cholesterol in the family and you want to stay ahead of it.
Making a lifestyle change
Starting a new diet, exercise plan or giving up alcohol — see the numbers move.
Checking your nutrition
Want to know if your iron, B12, folate and vitamin D are where they should be.
Peace of mind
A clear, clinician-reviewed picture across the major systems, all in one visit.

30 markers across 7 areas of your health
Rather than testing one thing at a time, this panel screens the areas day-to-day lifestyle affects most — in a single blood draw. Here's what each group can tell you.
Cholesterol & heart risk
A full lipid profile — total, "good" HDL, "bad" LDL, triglycerides and the cholesterol ratio — to gauge cardiovascular risk.
5 markersBlood sugar
Glucose and HbA1c can help identify or rule out raised blood sugar, pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
2 markersLiver function
ALT, AST, ALP, GGT, bilirubin and albumin show how your liver is coping with alcohol, diet and medication.
6 markersKidney & salts
Creatinine, eGFR, urea and key electrolytes give a rounded picture of kidney function and hydration.
8 markersIron status
A full iron panel can spot a deficiency — a common, treatable cause of low energy — before anaemia appears.
5 markersFull blood count
Red cells, white cells and platelets give a broad picture of anaemia, infection and general blood health.
1 markerKey vitamins
Vitamin B12, folate and vitamin D — low levels are common in the UK and linked to tiredness and low mood.
3 markersThree simple steps

Understanding your Lifestyle Screen results
Each result in your Lifestyle Screen is reviewed by a clinician before release. Below is a plain-English guide to the key markers included in this panel.
Haemoglobin
Assesses for anaemia, which can cause fatigue and reduced exercise capacity.
TSH (Thyroid)
Screens for thyroid dysfunction, a common and treatable cause of weight changes, fatigue, and mood disturbance.
HbA1c
Identifies pre-diabetes or diabetes by measuring average blood glucose over 2–3 months.
ALT (Liver enzyme)
Liver cell enzyme elevated when liver cells are damaged — by alcohol, fatty liver disease, or medication.
Creatinine / eGFR
Assesses kidney filtration capacity. Reduced eGFR indicates chronic kidney disease.
Vitamin D
Essential for bone health and immune function. Deficiency is common and associated with fatigue and muscle weakness.
Cholesterol
Total and fractionated lipid levels to assess cardiovascular risk.
Reference ranges vary between laboratories and are influenced by age, sex, and other individual factors. This information is for educational purposes only and does not replace a clinical consultation. The Vesey reviews every result before it is released to you.
