Most corporate health programmes either sit unused or check a compliance box. The Vesey is different: a CQC-regulated private hospital delivering clinically led employee health assessments that actually mean something — for your people and for your business. Not a wellness app, not a tick-box exercise. Every employee leaves with confidential individual health insights; every employer receives an anonymised workforce health report.

Screening delivered by our CQC-regulated clinical team — including GMC-registered doctors — at our Sutton Coldfield clinic, or on-site at your premises. All data handling fully GDPR-compliant; individual results are confidential between employee and clinician.

Why employee wellbeing matters

The business case is clear — most organisations still aren't acting on it. The question isn't whether to invest in employee health, but whether to invest before the problem lands, or after.

  • Stress, burnout and mental ill-health are consistently the leading causes of long-term absence — and are largely preventable with early identification.
  • High blood pressure, raised blood glucose and poor metabolic markers develop silently over years, often before a single symptom is noticed.
  • Without baseline health data, HR and leadership teams make wellbeing decisions with no real visibility of the risks inside their workforce.
  • Standard EAP programmes have consistently poor engagement and little measurable preventative impact in practice.
The cost of doing nothing. The direct and indirect costs of workplace ill-health — absence, replacement, lost productivity and management time — consistently outweigh the cost of a structured preventative health programme.

What your business gains

Earlier intervention

Health risks identified before they become costly conditions — while employees can still act on them.

Reduced absence

When employees understand their health and get early guidance, the pattern of unplanned absence typically changes. Prevention is more cost-effective than absence management.

Stronger retention

Meaningful clinical investment in employee health signals that an organisation values its people.

Better performance

Employees who understand and protect their health are better resourced to bring their best.

Workforce intelligence

Anonymised health data gives HR and leadership real visibility of where risks are concentrated.

Employer brand

Clinical-grade health assessments are an increasingly valued benefit and a genuine differentiator in recruitment and retention.

Tax efficiency. Preventative and occupational health assessments are generally treated as a legitimate business expense, and many organisations structure their programmes for meaningful tax efficiency. Speak with your accountant for guidance specific to your situation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does corporate health screening cost?

Three tiers per employee: Essential £99, Advance £275, Executive £499. On-site delivery is available for teams of around ten or more. Contact us for a bespoke quote tailored to your team size and delivery preference.

Can you deliver health screening at our offices?

Yes. For groups of 15+ employees we deliver on-site at your premises anywhere in the West Midlands. We bring a portable clinical setup including phlebotomy, ECG and consultation space.

Do employees need to fast before their appointment?

For Advance and Executive tier appointments, employees should fast for 8–10 hours beforehand (water is fine) to ensure accurate results from the lipid components of the Randox blood panel. Essential tier appointments do not require fasting — employees can attend normally. We include clear pre-visit fasting guidance in the employee communications we send ahead of the programme.

How long does it take to set up?

From initial enquiry to first employee being seen: typically 2–3 weeks. Larger programmes are planned 1–3 months ahead.

What does the employer receive vs the employee?

Each employee receives a full personal written results report in confidence. The employer receives only an anonymised aggregated workforce health report — never individual data. This is a GDPR and medical confidentiality requirement.

Is corporate health screening tax-deductible?

Generally yes — allowable business expense for corporation tax. For the employee, one annual health assessment per year is exempt from benefit-in-kind tax. Confirm with your accountant for your specific situation.

Can you do mixed tiers — Executive for leadership, Essential for the rest?

Yes. Very common arrangement. We can also offer voluntary upgrades where employees who want a higher tier can pay the difference personally.

What about ongoing care after the screening?

Where employees need follow-up — for raised BP, abnormal lipids, mental health concerns — they can use The Vesey for ongoing care at standard self-pay or insurance-covered rates. Many employers add a small GP subscription benefit (from £19/employee/month) for ongoing access.

Are you regulated and insured?

Yes. The Vesey is CQC-regulated (registration 1-13508890408), rated Good across all five domains. Full medical malpractice and public liability insurance held. All clinicians GMC-registered.

Do you cover occupational health needs like night-shift workers or DSE?

We focus on health screening rather than statutory occupational health (which typically requires a dedicated OH provider). For combined OH + screening needs, talk to us at proposal stage and we can recommend appropriate partners.

Can family members of employees join the programme?

Yes — many employers offer access to spouse/partner screening at the same negotiated rate. Easy to set up at proposal stage.
