Private Nasal Polypectomy in Sutton Coldfield
Endoscopic nasal polypectomy for nasal polyps causing obstruction, loss of smell and chronic sinusitis. Published price from £2,200.
What is nasal polypectomy?
Nasal polyps are soft, non-cancerous growths that form on the lining of the nose or sinuses, typically as a result of chronic inflammation. They are a common condition, affecting approximately 4% of adults, and are particularly associated with asthma, aspirin sensitivity, and allergic rhinitis.
Nasal polypectomy is the surgical removal of these growths, performed endoscopically — using a small telescope and suction device inserted through the nostrils, with no external incisions. The procedure is usually performed in conjunction with functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) to improve sinus drainage and reduce recurrence.
