A women’s health blood test can check your reproductive and thyroid hormones, screen a broad range of general-health markers, or include an ovarian-reserve marker (AMH). Whether you want a focused hormone profile or a comprehensive female health screen, these are the panels women most often start with at The Vesey.

All samples are processed by CQC-regulated, UKAS-accredited NHS pathology laboratories. Reports are reviewed by a GP, with an optional telephone interpretation for any out-of-range result. Guide prices are confirmed at booking.
Feeling unwell right now? These blood tests are for people who feel generally well and want answers. They are not for emergencies. If you have sudden or severe symptoms — chest pain, breathlessness, fainting, or you feel very unwell — call 999. For urgent but non-emergency advice, call 111 or contact your GP.

Frequently asked questions

Which women's health blood test should I choose?

For a focused look at your cycle hormones, the Hormone Profile is a good start. For a broad MOT, the Standard Screen Plus (Female) screens general health, and the hormonal-health version adds reproductive hormones. Our team can advise if you are unsure.

Can these tests help me understand perimenopause?

Hormones such as FSH, LH and oestradiol are measured in our hormone and female-screen panels and can form part of the picture a clinician builds around perimenopause, alongside your symptoms and history. Results are reviewed by a GP, with an optional telephone interpretation.

Do I need to time the test to my cycle?

For several reproductive hormones, the day of your cycle affects the result, so our team will advise the best time to attend when you book. Guide prices are confirmed at booking.
