Reproductive and thyroid hormones drive your cycle, fertility and energy. A hormone or fertility blood test measures them at a point in your cycle so you and a clinician can see the full picture. From a focused hormone profile to a comprehensive fertility panel with AMH — a marker of ovarian reserve — here are the panels people start with.

All samples are processed by CQC-regulated, UKAS-accredited NHS pathology laboratories. Reports are reviewed by a GP, with an optional telephone interpretation for any out-of-range result. Guide prices are confirmed at booking.
Feeling unwell right now? These blood tests are for people who feel generally well and want answers. They are not for emergencies. If you have sudden or severe symptoms — chest pain, breathlessness, fainting, or you feel very unwell — call 999. For urgent but non-emergency advice, call 111 or contact your GP.

Which test? Compare four panels

The right panel depends on your question — a snapshot of your sex hormones, a broad fertility work-up, or an ovarian-reserve check with AMH. Timing within your cycle matters, so our team will advise when to attend.

Frequently asked questions

What is AMH and which test includes it?

AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) is a marker used as part of assessing ovarian reserve. It is included in our Fertility Panel + AMH and Endocrinology Plus panels. A clinician reviews your result in the context of your age and history.

Does it matter when in my cycle I have the test?

For several reproductive hormones, timing within your cycle affects the result, so our team will advise the best day to attend when you book. AMH can generally be measured at any point in the cycle. Guide prices are confirmed at booking.

Can these tests tell me whether I can conceive?

No single blood test can answer that. These panels measure hormones that help you and a clinician understand your reproductive health and decide on next steps. Results are reviewed by a GP, with an optional telephone interpretation.
