How is this different from the Endocrinology Plus Panel?
This panel covers 13 markers: full thyroid function with both antibodies, plus the reproductive and androgen hormones. The Plus panel includes all of those and adds five more — AMH for ovarian reserve, cortisol and DHEAS for adrenal hormones, and insulin and HbA1c for blood-sugar context — for £265. If fertility or metabolic questions are part of the picture, the Plus panel is usually the better value.
Why does it include thyroid antibodies?
Anti-TPO and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies indicate whether the immune system is acting on the thyroid, which is the most common cause of thyroid dysfunction in the UK. They can be raised before thyroid hormone levels themselves change, so testing them alongside TSH, free T4 and free T3 gives a clinician more to work with than thyroid function alone.
Does the timing of the test matter?
It can. Several reproductive hormones vary across the menstrual cycle, so a known cycle day helps interpretation, and a morning appointment is generally preferred for hormone testing. Our team will advise on timing when you book, and a clinician takes it into account when reviewing your results.
How long do results take?
We process your sample promptly and contact you as soon as your clinician-reviewed results are ready — turnaround varies by test. Every result is reviewed by a clinician who explains anything outside the normal range with clear guidance.
Do I need a GP referral?

This panel assesses the key thyroid, reproductive and androgen markers. Each result is reviewed by a clinician who will flag any values outside the expected range for your age and sex.

Reference Ranges

Reference intervals are population-derived and should be interpreted alongside your symptoms and clinical history — a result within range does not always exclude pathology, and a mildly out-of-range result may be clinically insignificant in isolation. Several reproductive hormones are also cycle-dependent, so the expected range depends on where you are in your cycle.
