Most nutrition apps guess. FuelWell is grounded in clinical guidance and a real dietitian.

Generic calorie targets and one-size-fits-all plans don't account for your health conditions, your history, or whether a "goal" is actually a safe one. FuelWell starts from a proper assessment, not a quiz result.

How FuelWell works

An eating-disorder risk screen runs first, every time — before any plan is ever built.

Assessment

Goals, anthropometrics, activity, diet pattern, allergies and conditions — always screening for eating-disorder risk first (SCOFF).

Your plan

Bounded by SACN/Eatwell and NICE guidance — never crash diets, never sub-BMR targets.

Daily logging

Lightweight, photo or text, with non-judgemental coaching nudges — never calorie-shaming.

Condition-aware

Modules for T2DM, hypertension and IBS signposting, always inside dietitian oversight.

Dietitian review

A real HCPC/AfN-registered dietitian reviews your plan and any flagged case.

Safety, explained kindly

The eating-disorder screen isn't a formality — it's a hard gate that decides whether FuelWell builds you a plan at all.

What FuelWell will do

  • Screen for eating-disorder risk (SCOFF) before any plan is built
  • Keep every target within SACN/Eatwell and NICE bounds
  • Route flagged cases straight to a real HCPC/AfN dietitian
  • Coach without judgement — no calorie-shaming, ever

What it won't do

  • Generate a plan for anyone the ED screen flags
  • Suggest a crash diet or a sub-BMR calorie target
  • Replace clinical treatment for a diagnosed eating disorder
  • Comment on your body or shame a logged meal

Evidence you can trust

Built on NICE, BDA and SACN guidance — every plan grounded in clinical standards, not a trend.

Everything you need to know

Will this tell me to starve myself?
No. Every plan FuelWell builds is bounded by SACN and Eatwell guidance and NICE dietary guidelines — it will never set a sub-BMR target or suggest a crash diet, regardless of what you ask for. If your goals push toward that territory, it will say so and adjust, not comply.
Can it help with a diagnosed condition like diabetes?
Yes — FuelWell has condition-aware modules for type 2 diabetes, hypertension and IBS that work within dietitian oversight, alongside (not instead of) your existing clinical care for that condition.
What if the assessment flags a concern?
The assessment always screens for eating-disorder risk first, using the SCOFF questionnaire. If it flags a concern, FuelWell will not generate a diet plan — instead, it routes you to a real HCPC/AfN-registered dietitian for a proper, human-led assessment.
