Insourcing and outsourcing both live or die on assurance — the part we refuse to shortcut. Because we run a practising-privileges model at our own CQC-regulated hospital, structured credentialing is business as usual, not a bolt-on. Every arrangement below is evidenced before any patient is seen.
Workforce checks, evidenced up front
Every clinician is credentialed before any patient contact: GMC/NMC/HCPC registration, revalidation and appraisal status, enhanced DBS, right-to-work, occupational health clearance, mandatory training and professional indemnity. We operate a practising-privileges model at our own hospital, so structured credentialing is business as usual for us — the evidence pack is provided to your medical staffing team up front.
Clinical governance
Insourced activity takes place at the trust's registered location and within the trust's clinical governance framework. The Vesey supplies fully credentialed clinicians, evidence of registration, DBS, indemnity and appraisal for every team member, participates in your incident-reporting processes and provides a named clinical lead and operational escalation route.
Care delivered at The Vesey happens under our CQC registration and clinical governance, with consultant-led teams and full indemnity. Clinical responsibility during the episode sits with us; pathway ownership stays with the trust, and the boundaries are documented in the contract before the first patient transfers.
Information governance
Data processing agreements, staff IG training and UK GDPR-compliant handling as standard. On insourcing, your patients' records stay in your systems — our teams document directly into your EPR/PAS. On outsourcing, data-processing agreements and secure transfer mechanisms are agreed as part of contracting, and records and results are returned to the trust as the pathway owner. The Vesey handles NHS-referred data flows routinely, including bloods processed at accredited NHS laboratories.

Reporting & assurance to your board
Weekly activity reports as standard: patients seen, DNA rates, outcomes, onward-pathway decisions and PTL impact, plus a monthly summary suitable for your access board or elective recovery meeting. We support your assurance processes with full documentation of our workforce checks and governance arrangements.
