Private pharmacy partners
Join the network of registered pharmacies our patients can choose to dispense their Vesey private prescriptions, with clear communication from our prescribers and an agreed fee for the delivery and counselling services you provide.
Ways to work with us
Dispense our private prescriptions
Patients who choose your pharmacy bring or send their Vesey prescription to you, with a named prescriber to contact if anything needs checking.
Home delivery
Where you offer it, deliver dispensed items to patients at home, at an agreed fee per delivery.
Medicines support
Counselling and follow-up services you provide for our patients, at an agreed fee per service.
What partnering gives you
- Listed as a partner pharmacy. Patients who want a nearby pharmacy see yours among the options, alongside the reminder that they may use any pharmacy.
- A prescriber you can reach. Queries about a prescription go straight to our prescribing team, not a switchboard.
- Electronic prescriptions. We are moving our prescribing onto an electronic service; partner pharmacies will be first to receive prescriptions that way.
- Fees for services you deliver. Delivery and counselling services are paid at the fee we agree with you.
What we ask of a partner
- Registered pharmacy premises with the GPhC, and a registered responsible pharmacist
- Professional indemnity that covers private dispensing
- A current Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission
- A signed partner agreement and data sharing agreement
- A declaration of any conflicts of interest
How fees and your partner code work
- Paid for the work you do. Where you deliver a service for one of our patients, we pay an agreed fee for that service through Stripe Connect. We never pay for referrals or prescriptions, and nothing about a patient’s care depends on where they were referred from.
- Your partner code. Every approved partner gets its own code, for example
VPH-7KQ3MD. Put it on the referrals you send through our professional referral form, or share your own referral link, so we know who to send letters and results back to. - The patient chooses. We tell every patient they may take their prescription to any pharmacy. A partner listing is a convenience for the patient, never a requirement.
- Paid securely. Fees are paid into your own Stripe account, set up through Stripe’s own onboarding, with a statement of each service paid.

Pharmacies partner questions
Do you pay pharmacies for receiving prescriptions?
No. Directing prescriptions to a pharmacy for payment is not allowed, and we do not do it in either direction. We pay only for services you deliver, such as home delivery, at an agreed fee.
Will patients be told to use my pharmacy?
No. Patients are always told they may use any pharmacy. Partner pharmacies are listed as options the patient may choose.
How will prescriptions reach us?
Today patients bring a signed private prescription. When our electronic prescribing service goes live, partner pharmacies will be able to receive prescriptions electronically.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no joining fee and no charge for being listed.
Do we need a Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission?
Yes, for a pharmacy partner. You will receive patient information from us, so we ask to see a current submission.
