Health Advisors, diagnostic specialists and pharmacy
Our health assessments, diagnostics and consultant clinics are growing. We are looking for Health Advisors, radiographers, sonographers, cardiac physiologists, an optometrist and a pharmacist to grow with them.
The roles
Health Advisor
You will run the measurements and blood draws in our health assessments, and look after patients from arrival to their GP review. Phlebotomy experience is particularly welcome. We train you in everything else.
Radiographer
Diagnostic radiographers to support our imaging pathway and the consultants who refer into it, on employed or sessional terms.
Sonographer
General and specialist ultrasound lists on site, with consultant colleagues on hand and reports going straight into the patient’s record.
Cardiac physiologist / technician
ECGs, ambulatory heart monitoring and cardiac investigations for our cardiology clinics and health assessments.
Optometrist
Eye examinations and diagnostic imaging alongside our consultant ophthalmology clinics.
Pharmacist
Medicines management, safe stock and dispensing, and support for our GP and consultant prescribers.
What we offer
- Varied, patient-facing work in a CQC-regulated independent hospital, alongside private GPs and consultant clinics across many specialties.
- Induction and competencies that are actually tracked — training records, immunisation status, appraisal and supervision live on the same dashboard the clinical team uses every day.
- Working patterns that fit — employed, part-time, sessional or self-employed, agreed with you at offer.
- A small team where your input counts. Incident reporting, safety checks and Freedom to Speak Up are built in, and your ideas change how the clinic runs.
- Free on-site parking and a location minutes from the M6 Toll and Sutton Coldfield station.
What we ask of you
- Current registration where your role has one (HCPC, GOC or GPhC), with no restrictions; for cardiac physiologists and sonographers, the voluntary register you hold
- For Health Advisors, a caring manner and attention to detail; phlebotomy experience is a plus
- An enhanced DBS check (we arrange it) and right to work in the UK
- Immunisation status for clinical work — hepatitis B, MMR, TB and seasonal flu and COVID
- Two references, one from your current or most recent employer

Questions about these roles
Do I need a clinical qualification to be a Health Advisor?
No. Phlebotomy or healthcare experience helps, and we train you in our health assessment protocol. A senior clinician oversees competency and supervision.
Can I work sessionally alongside another post?
Yes. Many of our clinicians hold NHS or other posts. Sessional and self-employed patterns are agreed with you.
I am a sonographer without HCPC registration — can I apply?
Yes. Tell us which register you hold, such as the RCCP or a voluntary register, and we will talk it through.
Do I need my own indemnity?
Employed staff are covered by the hospital. Self-employed professionals carry their own, and we ask to see it at credentialing.
