How the process works
The same four steps for every track. The form takes about five minutes and you can attach a CV or skip it and send one later.

Within five working days a clinical or HR lead calls you to talk through the role, the site and your questions.

A small, hands-on team
We are a single-site hospital, not a group. You will know your colleagues and patients by name, and have a direct line to the people who make decisions.
Built-in systems, less admin
Booking, patient records, invoicing, rota, training records and appraisal all run on tools built and improved in-house — reception and the back office handle the paperwork so clinical time stays clinical.
CQC-regulated, seven days a week
Every clinical process runs to CQC requirements with structured onboarding, and the hospital is open evenings and weekends — sessions can fit around an NHS post or a family.
Questions before you apply
Can I work at The Vesey alongside an NHS post?
Yes. Most of our consultants and many of our nursing and GP colleagues hold substantive NHS posts. Evening, weekend and sessional patterns exist for exactly that reason.
I am not sure which track I fit — what should I pick?
Pick the closest one. Every application is read by a person and filed by the role you describe, so a choice on the form never counts against you.
Do I have to upload a CV?
No. A CV helps us prepare for the first conversation, but the form accepts an application without one and you can email a CV to reception@thevesey.co.uk afterwards.
What checks are involved?
Professional registration, two references, an enhanced DBS check, right-to-work evidence, professional indemnity where you carry your own, and immunisation status for clinical roles. We track them for you and ask for each once.
Who sees my application?
Our HR team and the clinical lead for your track. Your details are held under our privacy policy for recruitment only, and your CV is stored encrypted.
Where is the hospital?
Unit 3, The Courtyard, Reddicap Trading Estate, Sutton Coldfield B75 7BU — with free parking, close to the M6 Toll and Sutton Coldfield station.
