Private Skin Lesion Excision in Sutton Coldfield
Skin lesion and mole excision in Sutton Coldfield from £600. Day-case under local anaesthetic. All lesions sent for histology.
What is skin lesion excision?
Skin lesion excision is the surgical removal of a skin lesion — including moles (melanocytic naevi), cysts (sebaceous or epidermoid), warts, skin tags, basal cell carcinoma, and other benign or potentially malignant growths.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia as a day case and takes 15–30 minutes. All excised tissue is sent for histological analysis — laboratory examination to confirm the diagnosis and ensure complete removal of any malignant lesion. Prompt excision of suspicious lesions is important for early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers.
