Comprehensive Joint Injection Service
One of the most complete musculoskeletal injection services in the region — joint injections, Arthrosamid®, PRP, steroid, hyaluronic acid, prolotherapy and high-volume injections, delivered under ultrasound guidance by clinicians who perform them every week. No GP referral needed.
The right injection, in the right place, at the right time can settle pain, unlock rehabilitation and help you avoid surgery. The Vesey offers the full range of joint and soft-tissue injections — from everyday steroid injections to regenerative options like PRP and Arthrosamid® — delivered under ultrasound guidance for accuracy. We'll assess your problem first and recommend only what's genuinely likely to help.
Our injection options
Seven distinct treatments — we'll match the right one to your diagnosis at your assessment.
Targeted injections into joints, tendons, bursae and soft tissue to relieve pain and settle inflammation — the foundation of the service, performed under ultrasound guidance for precision.
A modern injectable hydrogel for knee osteoarthritis. A single injection cushions the joint and can give lasting relief — a strong option when other treatments have stopped working.
Concentrated platelets from your own blood, injected to harness natural healing for tendon injuries, osteoarthritis and chronic soft-tissue problems. More on PRP →
Fast, targeted reduction of inflammation and pain in joints, bursae and tendons — often used to unlock rehabilitation. More on cortisone →
Viscosupplementation that lubricates and cushions arthritic joints, improving comfort and movement — particularly for knee and hip osteoarthritis.
A regenerative technique that stimulates the body to repair and strengthen lax or painful ligaments and tendons, helping stabilise chronic joint problems.
A high-volume, ultrasound-guided injection for stubborn chronic tendinopathy — such as Achilles and patellar tendons — to break down the abnormal vessels and nerves driving pain.

Why choose The Vesey for injections
Image guidance confirms the needle is exactly where it needs to be — improving both accuracy and safety compared with landmark-only injections.
From everyday steroid injections to PRP, Arthrosamid® and high-volume injections — we offer the right option rather than the only one we have.
We assess first and recommend an injection only where it's genuinely likely to help — sometimes the best advice is rehab, not a needle.
No GP referral needed and open 7 days a week, 8am–8pm including Sundays, with transparent pricing.
What to expect
A clinician examines you, reviews any imaging and confirms your diagnosis and whether an injection is right for you.
Your chosen injection is performed under ultrasound guidance where appropriate — usually quick, with local anaesthetic for comfort.
We give clear aftercare advice and a rehabilitation plan to get the most from your injection.
We follow up to check your response and plan any further treatment if needed.
Frequently asked questions
What joint injections do you offer?
Our comprehensive service includes standard joint injections, Arthrosamid®, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), steroid (corticosteroid), hyaluronic acid (HA), prolotherapy and high-volume injections — carried out under ultrasound guidance where appropriate. The right option depends on your diagnosis and is discussed at your assessment.
How much do joint injections cost?
A steroid (cortisone) joint injection starts from £350 and PRP joint injections start from £600. Arthrosamid®, hyaluronic acid, prolotherapy and high-volume injections are priced at consultation, depending on the joint and the number of injections required. All costs are confirmed before you proceed.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly for an assessment and we'll advise which injection, if any, is right for your condition.
Are the injections guided by ultrasound?
Where appropriate, yes. Ultrasound guidance confirms the needle is in exactly the right place, improving the accuracy and safety of the injection.
Will an injection cure my problem?
Injections are often part of a wider plan rather than a standalone cure. They can relieve pain and create a window to rehabilitate. We're honest about what to expect and pair injections with a rehabilitation plan and, where relevant, our sports & exercise medicine service.
