How long does the Essential Assessment take?
The Essential Assessment is a focused appointment. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.
When will I receive my results?
Verbal results are given at the end of your appointment. Your written report is delivered promptly by email — a clear, jargon-free document with your results and a 12-month action plan.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book your Essential Assessment directly online or by calling 0121 387 3705. No GP referral is required.
What should I do before my appointment?
You don't need to fast before your appointment unless you've been specifically advised to. If you'd like your blood results taken while fasted, you're welcome to attend fasted. Wear comfortable clothing.
Can I add extra tests on the day?
Yes. Additional tests and panels can be added to your Essential Assessment. Our clinical team will advise on options most relevant to your health history.
