Contact Healix, or use the My Healix app, to check your cover and get an authorisation code before your appointment, then book with us quoting it.

How to use your Healix cover, step by step

Check your cover

Your scheme documents, usually from your employer, set out what is covered and whether you need a GP referral.

Get a Healix code

Contact Healix or use the My Healix app. Healix confirms your cover and gives you an authorisation code.

Book with us

Call 0121 387 3705 or book a specialist online and choose the insured option. Quote your membership number and code.

Come in, we claim

We send the bill to Healix and collect only your excess, if your scheme has one.

What to have ready

  • Your Healix membership or scheme number
  • Your Healix authorisation code
  • Your GP referral letter, if your scheme needs one
  • Photo ID and a list of any medicines you take

What you pay

  • Nothing upfront for covered care. We send the bill to Healix for treatment they have authorised.
  • Your excess. If your policy has an excess, we collect it from you and Healix pays the rest.
  • Anything outside your cover. If a fee is above your benefit limit or a service is not covered, we tell you the cost before you go ahead.
  • No authorisation, no claim. If you are seen without an authorisation code, you may have to pay the full fee yourself.

Services Healix members ask us about
