You can see a private consultant at The Vesey by video from anywhere in the UK. Choose your consultant below, book a new self-pay consultation and tick “Virtual consultation (video call)” on your details. You pay £260 when you book. Your confirmation email carries the consultant’s video-room link, and you join from your phone or computer at your appointment time, with no download needed.

Your confirmation email carries the consultant's video-room link. You join from home at your appointment time, with no download needed.
How much does a private video consultation with a consultant cost?
£260 for a new consultation and £180 for a follow-up. That is the same price as seeing the consultant in person at our Sutton Coldfield clinic. Video appointments are paid in full when you book.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a consultant yourself. If you have a referral letter or recent test results, add them to your booking notes or bring them to the call.
Which consultants offer video consultations?
Consultants in ENT, endocrinology, pain management, dermatology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, haematology, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, gynaecology, urology and paediatrics. The full list is on this page, each with a link that opens their booking.
What if the consultant needs to examine me or arrange tests?
Some conditions need an examination, a scan or a test in person. If so, the consultant will tell you and arrange it, either at The Vesey in Sutton Coldfield or, for blood tests, at a partner clinic near you.
Can I use my health insurance for a video consultation?
Video consultations are booked online as self-pay. If you want to use health insurance, call us on 0121 387 3705 and we will check what your policy covers.
Can my child see a paediatrician by video?
Yes. A parent or guardian books the consultation and joins the video call with the child.
Is a video consultation suitable for an emergency?
No. In an emergency call 999. For urgent advice call NHS 111.
